The Lighthouse community gathered for prayer as usual at the start and conclusion of our recent meeting, focusing our attention on how God wants us to lead this ministry.

🖥️ Website and Systems

We’ve successfully moved the live website to a new hosting platform called Laravel Forge, which has been running smoothly for a week. This change helps reduce ministry costs by allowing us to cancel our previous Laravel Cloud subscription.

⚙️ Server and Technical Updates

• The Minecraft test and live servers have been slightly downsized to help lower expenses. While this helps with costs, the test server may experience some lag, so it might be temporarily upgraded for specific testing needs from time to time.
• Some community members have asked about a map reset. At this time, with our limited engineering support, we don’t have the capacity to make major changes like a reset.
• An activity report shows that current server use is lower than last summer, with about two players per day on average since April. Roughly four players remain active, including staff members.

📖 Prayer and Bible Study

Our new Bible study sessions streamed on Twitch are going well, attracting a good number of participants—more than our previous Lighthouse-only studies! We encourage you to join these enriching times of fellowship and learning. Wednesday night at 8:30 pm on Twitch. Final Asgard's Twitch Channel

👥 Community Life

Staff term limits have been introduced to encourage commitment and healthy turnover. Here’s the new structure:

• Junior Crew: 3 months
• Crew Members: 6 months
• Officers: 12 months Members may choose to renew or step down at the end of their terms.

🎮 Events and Builds

There are plans for upcoming community events by Shrooms and Lumi! We look forward to hearing more details as those plans develop and encourage everyone to participate when they launch.
